stallion. We are very proud to have this beautiful young stallion in our program. A very rare find with his breeding. As of
right now he is the only one in Canada with this breeding. "Danny" is a line bred Jessie James, with 26% Jessie
James Blood. One look at his pedigree and if you follow old cutting lines, you will like what you see! He fits right in with
what our program is based on - Old proven foundation lines with a cross of classic proven performance with Peppy San/
Peponita.
He should be 97% foundation. He'll mature to
be about 14.3hh He is already very well built with excellent bone. He has been absolutely wonderful to work with so far, very
smart. We brought him out of TX in Jan. 2019 So far we couldn't be happier and we look forward to his influence in our
program down the road. The stallion Jessie James was also owned by E Paul Waggoner , at the same time he owned Poco Bueno.
Some say that Jessie James could work a cow better then Poco Bueno. He just got "over shadowed" by Poco Bueno. Jessie
James was considered to be "one on the greatest cutting horses to ever look through a bridle". Collected his last major
win at the age of 18 at the 1961 Houston Livestock Show as Reserve Champion of the NCHA contest. "Danny's" bottom side holds
its own with his grand dam being a proven producing mare by the legendary Peponita X Peppy San and going back to Leo breeding
with El Pobre ( King Ranch breeding) For a young stallion he packs an impressive pedigree!
